Cold-pressed juice is a convenient and beneficial way to enjoy raw fruits and vegetables. Using a hydraulic press, the nectar of fruits and vegetables are extracted directly from the pulp. Unlike blending or grinding, cold-pressing juice won’t denature or degrade fruits and vegetables by exposing produce to unnecessary heat and friction. This means you enjoy the most concentrated amount of vital nutrients and enzymes.

High pressure processing (HPP) is a cold pasteurization technique that subjects liquid and solid foods to pressures between 100 and 800 mpa.

Many juice producers use this technique to extend their products’ shelf life by inactivating bad bacteria (sometimes as much as 10 times longer than non-HPP’d juice). While this process inactivates the bad bacteria, it also inactivates the good bacteria. At Village Juicery, we believe that this vegetative flora and bacteria play a critical role in digestion and are needed to support proper nutrition.

In our opinion, choosing HPP is about supply chain challenges and profits – not about nutrition. In fact, some of our recipes, such as Be Clean, can’t be HPP’d due to their lack of acidity and PH balance. We refuse to live without our deep green drinks as they are so valuable in alkalizing and detoxifying the body.

At Village Juicery, we are committed to delivering products that are 100% certified organic. We avoid GMOs and believe that organic fruits and vegetables have higher nutritional value.

We also support organic farmers who avoid toxic pesticides and are contributing to the health of our environment by reducing pollutants in groundwater and are creating richer soil that aids in plant growth while reducing erosion.

Not only does glass better preserve the quality of our juices, but it also has many environmental benefits: Glass produced from recycled glass reduces related air pollution by 20% and related water pollution by 50%. Recycling glass also reduces the space in landfills that would otherwise be taken up by used bottles and jars.

We try to source our organic ingredients through local sources. Many of our fruits and vegetables come from Canadian farms. Pfenning’s Organic Farm is a partner of Village Juicery.

Based in Toronto, we are a leading producer and distributor of cold-pressed juice. Every morning, we hand pick fruits and vegetables from local suppliers and press them every night in our production facility. We work all night and deliver your juice to the store the next morning. This means you get the freshest juice possible.

Our juices are 100% organic and are pressed every day. They do not contain any preservatives or additives and are never HPP’d. In order to get the maximum amount of nutrients, our juices should be consumed within 3-5 days of being purchased. An expiry date is stamped onto every bottle we produce.

Yes, we are proud to provide vegan, raw, 100% organic plant-based nutrition. All of cold pressed juices are made with fruits, vegetables and nuts and do not contain any animal product.

One exception is honey which we use medicinally in a few of our products.

We have a core line up of cold-pressed juices, freshly squeezed juices, handmade nut milks, shots, breakfast, salads hot drinks and tonics. We will be introducing a rotating menu that features flavours of the season in unique and nutritious recipes. If there is a certain product you would like us to carry, let us know.

We have a recycling program that offers you points as a part of our Village Rewards program for any clean bottles you return to the store. The bottles are then pressure-washed, sanitized and reused.

 You are also more than welcome to keep your empty bottles and reuse them. They make excellent water bottles, home decor accents and storage containers.

All perishable goods are final sale. However if you are unsatisfied with your purchase in any way, please reach out to us directly within 2 weeks with the original product packaging and we will make it right.

 All 3rd party products are eligible for return within 14 days with proof of purchase for refund or store credit.

We are very sorry but at this time we are not able to deliver outside our delivery area. However, we are hoping to continue expanding our delivery area when possible. If you want your city/town to be top of that list, please email us at info@villagejuicery.com. In the meantime, we do have wholesale partners throughout the GTA and beyond, so have a look at our locations to see if there’s one near you. You can also place an order for pick up at one of our Village Juicery stores the next time you’re in town.

Absolutely! Simply leave detailed instructions (i.e. buzzer number, if we’re to leave it with a concierge, etc.) in the notes section while checking out and we’ll be sure to follow your instructions. If we are to leave it with someone other than yourself, please be sure they know the items need to be refrigerated as soon as possible.

Delivery is free for orders over $65, or $15 for orders below. In-store pick ups are always free!

When placing your order, select your preferred delivery date and time. Please note, for next-day delivery, orders must be placed by 12:30pm. Click here to see when we deliver to your area!

Unfortunately we are unable to offer next-day delivery for all locations. Please note there is no delivery on Sunday. Orders after 12:30pm Friday can be delivered Monday at the earliest. 

You can select a delivery time slot at checkout! Delivery time slot options will appear depending on your delivery address. Please plan to be home for the duration of your time slot so your items can go directly in the refrigerator on delivery.

With the exception of our pantry items and some of our supplements and snacks, most Village Juicery products need to be kept refrigerated for maximum shelf life and freshness. Your delivery will come fresh out of a refrigerated truck and we recommend you popping your items in the fridge as soon as you are able.

At Village Juicery, all our products are made fresh with no processing or preservatives. This means all our juices, smoothies, shots and meals have a shelf life of 2-7 days. Please see specific details on the pages of the items you’re interested in ordering.

Drinking juice is the most natural and quickest way to increase your consumption of raw fruit and vegetables. Our modern diet, which often consists of convenient, processed food, doesn’t give us all the nutrients we need. Drinking the right juice is a better, more natural alternative to taking supplements and multivitamins as it is more efficiently absorbed into our system.

We recommend drinking juice just before or between meals to get its maximum nutritional benefits.

Yes, our products can be used as part of a juice fast. However, we believe there is no standard ‘one size fits all’ kind of cleanse, which is why we have developed personalized Reset Programs that are tailored to you based on your health and lifestyle goals. Our Reset Programs include a one-on-one consultation with our on-site nutritionist who, with you, will develop a program that helps your body prepare, eliminate and reset in a meaningful way. Alkaline water is water that has been ionized through a filtration system, raising its pH level from neutral to more alkaline.

Drinking alkaline water helps us neutralize the acidity in our bodies, which can come from consuming acidic foods like meat, dairy, processed foods and beverages like soft drinks and coffee. We use currently use alkaline water in our nut milks . Packed with natural antioxidants, alkaline water can help to fight free radicals, give you more energy and slow the aging process.

People with diabetes need to be cautious when drinking juices high in natural sugars since these sugars can cause blood glucose levels to rise. Our products contain a ‘What’s Inside?’ label that can help you gauge the level of sugar content by breaking down the ingredients based on greens, root vegetables and fruits.

If you are unsure about whether you can consume cold-pressed juice, consult with your physician first.

Believe it or not, a lot of fruits and vegetables contain protein. Some protein-rich vegetables we include in our juices are: kale, parsley, carrots, collards, and sweet potato. Our nut milks, which are made with raw, 100% organic almonds and cashews, are also a great source of protein.

Because our juices are cold pressed, most of the fibre content is lost when the juice is extracted. However, this process enables your body to absorb nutrients most efficiently. We encourage you to maintain a balanced diet and offer a full-range of fibre-rich smoothies and take-away snacks for you in our retail store.

Our products do not contain any added sugar. Any sweetness you taste comes naturally from fruits and root vegetables like beets and sweet potatoes. Some of our products, such as Be Happy, are sweetened with 100% Canadian dark-grade maple syrup.

Each 500 ml bottle of Village Juicery contains roughly 2-3 pounds of produce, which is the equivalent of 6-8 full salads and is more than the daily recommended intake of fruits and vegetables.
