This single origin cacao is from a farm in Ecuador which has received it’s “denominacion de origen”, a term used for high standard and next-level quality production on heirloom varieties. This also means there was no foreign pollination or seeds added in the mix of its reproduction. The care that goes into harvesting this plant ensures the utmost preservation of nutrients, minerals and antioxidants within this cacao.
